📝 The Design Process

Step 1: Choose a Style

Browse our jersey templates at bowlersmart.com/custom-jerseys or coolwick.com. You can:

  • Pick a pre-made template and customize colors/text
  • Upload your own complete design
  • Request a fully custom design from our team

Step 2: Submit Your Order

Provide:

  • Quantity and sizes (see Size Guide)
  • Names and numbers for each jersey
  • Logo files (vector preferred — .ai, .eps, .pdf — or high-res PNG with transparent background)
  • Color preferences
  • Any specific design notes

Step 3: Review Your Proof

  • You'll receive a digital proof within 2–4 business days
  • Review carefully — check spelling, sizes, numbers, logo placement
  • Approve, request revisions, or cancel without charge

Step 4: Production & Delivery

  • Once you approve the proof, production begins
  • Production takes 2–3 weeks for most orders
  • You'll receive shipping confirmation when your order ships

Sizing Tips

  • Size up if you prefer a relaxed fit or plan to wear an undershirt
  • Size down if you prefer a slim athletic fit
  • Women's sizing available — fitted through the waist
  • Youth sizes available for junior bowlers

Sample Sizing

For team orders of 10+ jerseys, we offer sample size kits — try on the actual fabric and cut before placing your full order. Contact us to request a sample kit.

Benefits of Team Ordering

  • Volume discounts for orders of 6+ jerseys
  • Coordinated design across all team members

  • Sponsor logos can be added at no extra design fee

How to Place a Team Order

  1. Designate a team contact
  2. Collect names, numbers, and sizes from each member
  3. Submit the team order with full roster
  4. Review and approve a single design proof for the team
  5. Each team member's jersey is custom-named and ships together

Reorders

Once your team's design is on file, reorders for new members or replacements can be placed quickly without redesigning. Reference your original team order number.

✏️ Design Changes & Approvals

Before You Approve the Proof

Free changes — request unlimited revisions until you're happy with the design. Our team responds to revisions within 1–2 business days.

After You Approve the Proof

Once production begins, design changes are very limited:

  • First 24 hours after approval: we can usually halt production for a small change. Contact us immediately at 1-256-579-1039.
  • After 24 hours: production is in progress. Changes typically aren't possible without restarting (and incurring) a new order.

Spelling & Detail Errors

Important: You're responsible for verifying spelling, numbers, and details on the proof before approval. Customer-approved errors are not eligible for free reprints.

🔄 Returns, Defects & Reprints

Custom Apparel Return Policy

Custom and personalized apparel is generally NOT returnable, since it can't be resold. Exceptions:

  • Manufacturing defects (stitching failures, fabric flaws, sublimation errors not on the proof)
  • Wrong item shipped (not what you ordered)
  • Damage during shipping (report within 7 days of delivery)

How to Report an Issue

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  2. Send clear photos showing the issue
  3. We'll review and respond within 1–2 business days
  4. Approved claims get a free replacement at no charge

What's Not Eligible for Reprint

  • Spelling errors that match the approved proof
  • Color preferences (always check the proof)
  • Sizing issues (we recommend sample sizing for team orders)
  • Normal wear from use
