BowlersMart supports popular Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options at checkout so you can split larger gear purchases into installments. This guide covers how each option works, returns/refunds, and common issues.

💡 Tip: BNPL approval and payment schedules are controlled by Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm — not BowlersMart. For login, payment date, or account issues with the lender, contact that provider directly; for order/shipping/returns, contact us.

Minimum order amounts and eligibility are set by each provider and can change. Options only appear at checkout when your cart and location qualify.

đź›’ How Checkout Works

  1. Add items to cart and proceed to checkout
  2. Choose Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm as the payment method
  3. Complete the provider’s short application / login
  4. If approved, your order is submitted to BowlersMart like any other paid order
  5. You receive our normal order and shipping emails

Shipping, drilling, and pre-order rules still apply the same way — BNPL only changes how you pay.

đź“Š Credit Checks

  • Afterpay / many Klarna short plans: often a soft check that does not affect credit scores the way a hard pull does
  • Affirm / longer financing: may use a hard credit inquiry depending on the offer
  • Approval is always the provider’s decision; BowlersMart cannot force an approval

↩️ Returns & Refunds

  • Start returns with BowlersMart using our normal 60-day return process
  • When we issue a refund, it goes back through the BNPL provider, which adjusts your remaining schedule
  • Refund timing may show in your BNPL app before (or after) your bank statement updates
  • Partial returns usually reduce the financed amount rather than canceling the whole plan

Exchanges: we’ll process the product side; payment plan adjustments follow the provider’s rules for the revised total.

🛑 Cancellations & Failed Payments

  • Cancel before ship: Contact BowlersMart ASAP — see Cancel an Order
  • Missed BNPL installment: Resolve with Afterpay/Klarna/Affirm (late fees and account limits are theirs)
  • Failed payment does not automatically stop a package already in transit — contact us if you need order help after a payment issue

đź”— Combining with Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Some carts allow gift cards or store credit alongside BNPL; if checkout won’t stack them, pay the remainder with BNPL or another method
  • Striking Rewards coupons / Pay with Points may have stacking limits with BNPL — if a combination fails, try applying rewards first or contact us
  • MAP-restricted items can still be purchased with BNPL; discounts may still be blocked — see MAP Pricing
